Please note that the sat nav for Danby Castle may not get you here as they tend to get confused on the country lanes!

Take the Danby turnoff on the A171 and follow the moor road. Coming down the hill into Danby, go straight through the village going over the 2 bridges. Just before you get to the fire station there is a turning on the left 'Brook Lane' with a sign for the Fox and Hounds Inn, turn left here. Drive past the Fox and Hounds, continuing up the hill and following the road around for about a mile until you will see the Castle.
